• AMV & CMV Contests!

We're back! At NärCon Sommar 2024 on Friday July 26 we will have both a AMV (Anime Music Video) and CMV (Cosplay Music Video) contest. On this page you'll find all information about the contest and the rules.

  • ANIME MUSIC VIDEO CONTEST

    About the AMV contest

At NärCon Sommar 2024 we will show all the videos at the festivals Stage Kårallen and we will also stream the show. It all takes place on Friday July 26 at 23:30 CET and we will stream on NärCon's Twitch Channel. The judges will select the top 3 AMVs who will receive prizes in the form of tickets to NärCon Sommar 2025 and trophies.

If we get many submissions we will only be able to show the finalists. The judges will look through all submissions and select the top 20 which will be shown on Main Stage and Twitch. You will be contacted before the final about this. Every AMV sent to the contest will be ranked by the judges. So even if you don’t make it to the final you will still receive a rank.
