The AMV contest
Crows is proud to host NärCon Sommar’s AMV Contest this year, Tour De Force: Summer Palooza. This contest celebrates creativity, editing skill, and the passion of the AMV community.

If you have an AMV you’re proud of, we invite you to submit it for a chance to be featured at NärCon. We’re excited to see what you create. Good luck! 🎬

Rules

• You have to be the creator of the AMV.
• One AMV per editor or group. You can’t enter with a mep & a solo amv.
• Your AMV has to be exclusive for this contest. Already published videos will not be accepted.
• Your AMV has to be between 2.00 to 5.00 minutes long.
• AMV, GMV, MMV, MEP and Collabs are allowed.
• Your video cannot contain 18+ material such as nsfw or racism.
• Your video cannot contain AI music or AI video material.
• Your video cannot contain any fan-made subtitles, tv logos or original credits from the source you’re using.
• The judges recommend that you use at least 720p resolution.
• Max filesize is 500 mb.
• Allowed codecs and source format:
  - Video codec: H264 (AVC), H265 (HEVC)
  - Audio codec: mp3, flac, wav
  - Audio: minimum - 44,100hz, 128kbps. We recommend: 48,000hz, 320 kbps.
  - Format: mp4, avi, mov
• Judges have the right to disqualify your video if you break any rules written above.
  

Information

• There will be an overall rank.
• prizes will be given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and audience choice.
• More prizes will be added depending on the amount of submissions.
• You will be able to vote on your favorite amvs online. Information about how to vote will be released during the contest. Make sure to check our discord server. https://discord.gg/t8a8uhsuQ3
• The judges will decide on 25 finalists that will be presented live at the festival and on stream. The finalists will be announced before the contest on our discord server.
• The contest will be streamed on NärCon’s twitch channel https://www.twitch.tv/narcon & on Crows Youtube Channel https://www.youtube.com/@CrowsTeam on July 24th 2026, at 22.00 UTC+2.
• The judges are Vanitas, SliceofLife and Iris Edit.
• Winners will be contacted by email after the event and the rank list will be released on our discord server: https://discord.gg/t8a8uhsuQ3

How to participate

• Deadline for submission is on July 6th 2026, 23.59 UTC+2
• Submit your video in this form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdxIzCRjaDqhagNMndJQSCYlULnoMRAM-L2QwKZNWzXqnDVNQ/viewform
• Make sure that your download link to your video works and that the judges have access to it.
• Please name your file: editor name_amv title.
